Chronicles was wandering through the busy streets of the city when it stumbled upon a group of stray cats. They were dirty, hungry and clearly in need of some love and attention. Chronicles knew it had to do something to help these poor creatures. After some thought, Chronicles came up with an idea.
It would fund a mission for European citizens to come and pet these cats during the holiday season. The mission would be called "Winter Holidays Stray Cats" and the goal would be to encourage people to take care of these cats and show them some love. To make things interesting, Chronicles decided to turn it into a competition. Whoever petted the most cats would win more prizes. But there was a catch - everyone had to be careful because we all know how cats can be!
He proceeded to write a parchment containing the following rules:
Event Date: December 26th 09:00 Server time (18:00 Server Time) to December 29th 09:00 Server time (18:00 Server Time)
Participant Requirement: Characters must be at least 21 days old
* Travel costs will be halved during the event.
* 100 cats will roam the world in groups of 1. They will move each hour and when petted.
* Everyone can pet the cats (energy cost: 1, glut 0.2, hydration 0.2), no skills required
* 25% chance the cat ignores you and flees (nothing happens).
* 25% chance the cat scratches you (deals 0.5 HP damage then flees)
* 30% chance the cat purrs and you are given 5 gold coins before fleeing.
* 10% chance the cat purrs and you are given 10 gold coins before fleeing.
* 7% chance the cat purrs and you are given an item with 100% quality before fleeing.
* 2% chance the cat purrs and you are given 50 credits before fleeing.
* 1% chance the cat purrs and you are given a Lucky Cat before fleeing. (Note this is a unique item that can be dropped once). Lucky Cat, when placed in a structure, gives 2 gold coins per day. If Lucky Cat has already been won, 25 Gold Coins.
