Rose Bigod (1323-08-04 – present), usually known as Rose of England and sometimes Rose the Founder, is the first Queen of the Kingdom of England, reigning since 1323-08-04 00:40:53. Following the abdication of Regent Randel Timms in London, Rose invaded England with the aid of an army of Normans and Frisians to victory over the Anglo-Saxon forces at the Battle of London, suppressing subsequent Anglo-Saxon revolts in what has become known as the Royal Conquest. She replaced the previous regency with the feudal Kingdom of England under her personal rule.
Rose's reign in England is marked by increasing market activity and the construction of many citizen-owned structures, settling a new feudal system on the land and change in the composition of the English citizens. Under the book of Magna Carta, Rose aims to transform the Kingdom of England into a growing economic power in Europe. She also aims to develop English legislation and government, in particular the evolution of a working Parliament and the implementation of precautionary measures against incoming diseases.
Appearance and character
Rose has brown curls, hazel eyes, and full lips. She is described by her cousin, King Lucius of Frisia, as having all of her mother's beauty, but none of her mother's charitable nature.
Rose is calculating, shrewd, and greedy. Following her conquest of England, she required all citizen guilds to deposit their gold coins in the Royal Bank of England—effectively making the entire kingdom her personal fiefdom and "milk cow," while lowering Kingdom Taxes and City Taxes in every English market to 0% to maintain the illusion of Royal charitability.
Family
Rose was the adopted daughter of William, Duke of Normandy, and his wife Matilda of Flanders. According to the Book of Magna Carta, "In the hour of our Lord's Incarnation 1323-08-04 00:40:53, Rose, of House Bigod," was born at the royal estate called Velvet, in the city of London.
Rose is related with King Lucius of Frisia and King Édouard of France.
Wealth
As of 1323-08-16 22:11:34, Rose of England is the richest person on the Chronicles of Middle Ages, with 3,381.09 gold coins and 250 goods—worth at least 700 gold coins—listed on the London Market. Her sources of wealth came primarily from her ownership stakes in the Kingdom of England as its queen.
